President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law "On inland water transport". This is reported on the website of the Ukrainian President.
"The law regulates relations in the field of navigation on inland waterways of Ukraine. In particular, it establishes the conditions of inland water transport, the use of inland waterways, and their coastal lanes for navigation. It also regulates the issue of property that sunk in inland waterways, the liability of shipowners for violations of the legislation on inland waterway transport, etc," the statement said.
It is worth noting that only 1% of Ukraine's freight traffic is carried by river transport. This mode of transport is the world's cheapest and most environmentally friendly way to deliver goods.
As we reported earlier, on December 30, Ukraine's parliamentary newspaper Holos Ukrainy published the 2021 state budget.
The revenues of the state budget for 2021 are supposed to make USD 38.6 billion; that includes the revenues of the common fund (34 million dollars) and the revenues of the special fund (4.7 million).
