President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has responded to the words of Russian leader Vladimir Putin that issues of Ukraine are being solved in Washington, Berlin, and Paris as Interfax-Ukraine reported.

The Ukrainian president stated that the points of Vladimir Putin about foreign administration of Ukraine are “just propaganda mantra for the inner consumer in Russia”.

Zelensky was asked whether or not he is caught by Putin’s phrase that Ukraine’s issues are being solved in Washington.

“No, I do not live in stereotypes. It seems that if I, for example, said: “why do the Russians need elections, direct democracy, if everything is being solved in the Kremlin?”.

On June 30, the President of Russia held a phone-in with the Russians. During the dialogue, Putin mentioned Ukraine many times. Particularly, he stated that “Zelensky gave the land for foreign governance, and key issues of life-sustaining activity of Ukraine are being solved not in Kyiv but in Washington, and partly in Berlin, and Paris”.

Putin also specified that he does not refuse the meeting with the Ukrainian president.
