President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Roman Bezsmertny from the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on Donbas as the order #596/2019 states.
Bezsmertny presented Ukraine in the political issues subgroup at Minsk Talks.
“To grant partial change of Article 1 of the Order of the President of Ukraine dated June 19, 2019 #414 “Issues of provision of the representation of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group (with amendment made by Order dated July 9, 2019 #504) to release Roman P. Bezsmertny from the carrying out of duties for provision of Ukraine at the task subgroup on the political issues of the Trilateral Contact Group,” the order says.
He was dismissed in a month after his appointment.
Bezsmertny reported on Facebook that he got to know about his dismissal from the media.
“From the media, I got to know about the dismissal from the TCG in Minsk. I will tell what I think about it at 24 TV Channel at 6 p.m.,” he wrote.
On June 19, Volodymyr Zelensky authorized Bezsmertny to present Ukraine in the task subgroup on the political issues at Minsk Talks instead of Oleksandr Motsyk.
