President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky refused to be interviewed by RIA Novosti news agency. The reason is his tight working schedule, as the agency reported quoting the Presidential Office's response.

"Office of the President of Ukraine is grateful for your request. Unfortunately, due to the tight schedule of President Volodymyr Zelensky, it is impossible to schedule an interview for now", the authority said.

The Russian news agency has been trying to reach the head of the Ukrainian state since July, asking to reply to their questions in any suitable format.

According to Russian reporters, Zelensky previously said he was open for talks with reporters from all media, including the Russian ones.
