President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is ready for a meeting in the Normandy format in September. Vadym Prystaiko, Ukraine's top diplomat, said so at a press conference of Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Moldova.
"We plan to hold the meeting in the Normandy format in the near future. At least, President Zelensky is ready to do this not until December, but even this month", Prystaiko said.
Head of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry added that there is an agreement between almost all members of the Normandy format.
"We'll try to facilitate this and have another conversation, perhaps, on the phone - with all advisors of heads of the states and governments so as to agree [on the certain date] as soon as possible", Prystaiko said.
Previously, Russian leader Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed the preparations for the upcomming summit in the Normandy format.
