President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented the document, which contains the plan of "transformation" of Ukraine. His press office cited him on September 1, while Zelensky is on the working visit in the U.S.
"We have a clear vision of what Ukraine should look like in five-ten years. It is an ambitious plan of transformation of our state. More justice, more opportunities while we build a successful and stable Ukraine", the President said.
According to him, the document called A Greater Justice and Opportunity - Building Prosperous and Resilient Ukraine demonstrates the vision of "new Ukraine" in the coming years - "an outpost of safety, digital, infrastructure and agrarian hub".
The head of the state added that the document is a tool to develop the strategic economic partnership between Ukraine and the U.S., and it contains specific joint economic and investment projects. "The plan contains more than 80 projects; these are ambitious projects worth of 277 billion dollars in total. They foresee funding from the state budget of Ukraine, as well as involvement of programs of international assistance, loans and investments", Zelensky said.
As is known, the Ukrainian delegation arrived in the U.S. on August 31. The media focus will be on the meeting between the two presidents, Volodymyr Zelensky and Joe Biden.
