President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that in September, he plans to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington. This is reported by Interfax-Ukraine.

“There should be a meeting with President Trump in Washington in September,” Zelensky said.

Earlier, it was reported that Zelensky had a telephone conversation with Trump. Trump congratulated Ukrainian head of state on the victory of his party in the snap parliamentary elections. The presidents decided to discuss issues of Ukrainian-American interaction during the scheduled meeting in the United States.

We recall that voting in the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Ukraine took place on Sunday, July 21. The turnout of voters made almost 50 percent according to the processed data from all 199 districts.

On Friday, July 26, the CEC processed 100% of the electronic protocols for the nationwide multi-member constituency.
