President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky named the topics he plans to discuss with US leader Joe Biden during a meeting on August 30 in Washington. He wrote about this on his Twitter page.

Zelensky noted that he expects a fruitful and meaningful meeting with the American leader

"We will continue to discuss important issues of strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States - peace in Donbas, the return of Crimea, the security of Ukraine, energy as a challenge to security, economic development and support for reforms," Zelensky wrote.

At the same time, the President's Office noted that, first of all, the leaders will discuss security issues and continue to discuss the Nord Stream-2 project.

Meanwhile, the United States expects Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to visit Washington on August 30.

"President Biden looks forward to welcoming President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine to the White House on August 30, 2021," the statement reads.

According to Psaki, the visit will affirm "the United States’ unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity".
