Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky did not meet with Russian Secretary of Security Council Nikolai Patrushev in Mascat. Yulia Mendel, the Ukrainian leader's press secretary posted that on Facebook.

"It's hard to deny that someone works as a dentist, someone has brothers, someone goes to Moscow, some Russian officials go to Oman, some of modern politicians knew other politicians before they even came to power or worked somewhere else. It's difficult to compose these, concluding that the President made arrangements with a Russian official behind the society's back (...) They actually never met or spoken before", Mendel said.

Previously, reporters of Schemes project released research, in which they claimed that Patrushev and Zelensky met in Oman. Chief of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak condemned the story, calling it a lie.
