During his visit to Lithuania, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with President of the European Council Charles Michel. The officials discussed preparations for the EU-Ukraine summit, the press department of the Office of the President reports.
"During the meeting, the leaders discussed priorities of bilateral cooperation in the context of preparing to the 23rd EU-Ukraine summit, which is to take place in Kyiv on October 12, 2021", reads the message.
Zelensky also thanked Michel for passing the European Council's draft agreement on the common aviation space between Ukraine and the EU. The Ukrainian leader expressed hope that the agreement will be signed and will start working in the near future.
The sides also focused on the initiative Associated Trio launched by Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.
As is known, President of Ukraine came to Lithuania to participate in the 4th international conference for reforms in this country.
