Zelensky revealed his expectations on the meeting with US president. Economic cooperation between Ukraine and the United States will be one of the key topics of the future meeting, he said this in an interview on the occasion of 100 days of his presidency.

"We are ready to talk with America about business between our countries. Well, there are still questions of international relations, the question of an end of the war. We expect their support. But they openly support us," Zelensky said.

He emphasized that the USA is a strategic partner of Ukraine in many areas, especially in the energy sector, the energy security sector, and the defense industry.

"Presidents need to meet, get acquainted, look into the eyes. To say what country's spheres are they interested in. We will say what we need from them. We will not meet them with opened arms. No. We say: we are offering you to invest in the country. We need cheaper money," said the head of state.
