Japanese businessmen are interested in "State in smartphone" project

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with the leadership of the Japan Association of New Economy (JANE) during his working visit to Japan, press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Zelensky reportedly stated that the IT sector is one of the most dynamic sectors in Ukraine and described plans for its development. In particular, he was talking about improving the legal framework of Ukraine and the IT taxation system, and building a national innovation system.

"We are planning to develop innovative infrastructure by opening business incubators, accelerators and innovation platforms, opening R&D centers of global corporations and creating innovative or startup platforms in high education institutions," Zelensky said.

It is noted that Japanese businessmen are interested in the project "State in a smartphone". Zelensky emphasized that privatization reform is under his personal control.

Representatives of the association told Zelensky about examples of the most successful innovative projects of artificial intelligence's application in Japan, which have already proven its effectiveness in different spheres of life. These include tourism, entertainment, and cybersecurity.
