As we reported earlier, when running the president, Volodymyr Zelensky promised that his first bill would be a document on democracy.

The referendum law was supposed to come soon after it, but it has not been adopted yet.

It would be applied in order to approve the purchase of the land by foreigners and legal entities, the founders, or ultimate beneficiaries of which are foreigners.

In all other cases, it is not possible to acquire property rights.

It might be applied not only to the land sale market, but also to Ukraine’s membership in NATO, the issue of the special status of Donbas, and the like.
