Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the government to provide the citizens of Ukraine will all information on the ongoing quarantine restrictions. Zelensky stated this during a conference call with the Cabinet of Ministers, the press service of the President's Office reports.
"President Volodymyr Zelensky tasked the government to come out with a detailed presentation on all restrictions as soon as possible so that businesses understand how they can work. It is also expected to help avoid any possible misunderstandings between the government and the people," the statement said.
In turn, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said that the increase in the incidence of Covid-19 was expected after the New Year's holidays so the introduction of strict restrictions was necessary.
As we reported earlier, the government of Germany made a decision to extend the restrictions tied with the pandemic.
The strict lockdown was imposed on December 16, 2020. Initially, it was planned to hold it until January 10, 2021.
