President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky offered to impose a two years-long moratorium on the checks of self-employed individuals, the owners of small businesses in Ukraine. That does not include the "risky" business categories, such as jewelry production.
The decision was made after consultations with experts, MPs and small business representatives. The presidential press office reported this on Tuesday evening.
Thus, Zelensky reacted to the critics coming from representatives of small businesses that protested against the laws on the de-shadowing of counts in the branches of trade and services; they impose the use of digital cheque.
The Office of the President claims that the protests took place due to the fact that people were not informed about the law's norms properly.
