Today, on July 3, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Giuseppe Conte held a telephone conversation. This was reported by the press service of the President of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian president thanked the Italian PM for the prompt supply of humanitarian aid. The head of the Italian government, in his turn, expressed his attitude for the help of Ukrainian doctors in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

In addition, the parties expressed hope for the resumption of scheduled flights between the two countries in the near future. The Prime Minister of Italy stressed that he greatly appreciated Ukrainian tourists.

As we reported earlier, Austria has extended the ban for flights from Ukraine until July 15 due to the deterioration of the epidemiological situation.

The Austrian government has also banned the flights from Belarus, China, the UK, Iran, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, and Italian Lombardy.

Each particular case will be considered separately.
