Zelensky holds phone conversation with Italy’s Prime Minister

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has held a telephone conversation with Italy’s Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian president.

"Ukraine is genuinely rooting for the Italian people. At this difficult moment, Ukraine is with you. I truly believe that Italy will soon pass through this crisis," Zelensky said.

Giuseppe Conte thanked for Ukraine's humanitarian assistance to Italy, which included sending a team of doctors and disinfectants. The parties also discussed practical aspects of Ukrainian doctors’ stay in the Marche region.

Volodymyr Zelensky is convinced that the combined efforts of Ukrainian and Italian doctors in the fight against the pandemic will be a successful example of bilateral cooperation and the ability to overcome common challenges.

As we reported earlier, South Korea may provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine in the form of medical equipment.

This issue was discussed President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a telephone conversation with South Korean President Moon Jae In.
