President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Polishchuk as head of the Interdepartmental Commission on the Policy of Military-Technical Cooperation and Expert Control. The text of the decree stated this.
The text of the decree states that Polishchuk must submit proposals on the composition of the Interdepartmental Commission within two weeks.
During 2010 - 2017, Oleksandr Polishchuk has been working in senior positions in the civil service at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Office of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. In 2018-2019, he was engaged in expert analytical work in a non-governmental organization, as well as scientific work at the National Institute for Strategic Studies.
Polishchuk is a veteran of military service and a major general of the reserve.
