President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Dmytro Kuleba from his post as the Ukranian Representative in the European Council. The appropriate decree is published on the official website of the President.
"To dismiss Kuleba Dmytro Ivanovych from the post of the constant Representative of Ukraine in the European Council," the document reads.
As it was reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved Vitaly Klitschko's dismissal as the Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration.
"We applied to the President's Office concerning the dismissal of Klitschko," Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk stated.
The Kyiv Mayor commented on the dismissal as illegal. “The government made a step to introduce diarchy in the capital, in fact, direct presidential governance…The things that happen are illegal,” the mayor said.
Klitschko believes that the decision of the government is unconstitutional and illegal and only Kyiv citizens may dismiss him from the post.
