Zelensky extends visa-free regime for UK citizens

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky extended the visa-free travel regime for the United Kingdom citizens until January 30, 2022. The relevant decree No. 28/2021 of January 28 was published on the website of the Head of State.

"To extend the visa-free regime of entry to Ukraine and transit through the territory of Ukraine for citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, if their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 90 days within 180 days, until January 30, 2022," it reads.

Thus, foreign citizens will be able to take advantage of the visa-free regime if their period of stay in Ukraine does not exceed 90 days within 180 days.

Previously, visa-free regime for British citizens was introduced from January 31, 2020 to January 30, 2021 in order to draft and implement the principles of partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

As we reported earlier, a visa-free regime with one of the countries of the British Commonwealth has come into force for the citizens of Ukraine.

Ukraine has signed a relevant agreement with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
