President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky hopes that the MPs will vote for the bill № 3279 (it was drafted by the Cabinet of Ministers - 112 International) on changes to the state budget for 2020 in the next few days. This was stated by the head of state during his address to Ukrainian citizens, which was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV channel.
The President noted a number of initiatives supported by the government and also stressed that an important initiative is the indexation of pensions that is planned for May 1, 2020.
"All these initiatives require approval of changes to the state budget of Ukraine. I am sure that the MPs will vote for these changes in the next few days and will not take such important support from the people," Zelensky said.
