President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has met with the Executive Chairman of the State General Reserve of the Sultanate of Oman Abdulsalam al-Murshidi. This is stated on the website of the President's Office.
During the meeting, the parties talked over trade, economic and investment cooperation between Ukraine and Oman and stated that the current level of bilateral investment cooperation does not correspond to the existing potential, in particular in comparison with the dynamic growth of trade relations, and they agreed on the need for its intensification.
Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that today Ukraine offers significant investment opportunities. The Head of State informed about the conditions and advantages of doing business in Ukraine for foreign investors, creating a favorable business environment in our country, the most attractive areas for investment, and called on Omani partners to participate in large-scale privatization in Ukraine.
The Omani side expressed interest in intensifying the cooperation in the investment sphere and accepted the invitation of Volodymyr Zelensky to visit Ukraine in order to get acquainted with promising projects and directions of cooperation.
As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is in Oman, where he went with his family on a regular flight at his own expense. According to the President’s Office on Telegram, Zelensky’s meeting at the highest level is planned in Oman.
"In Oman, Volodymyr Zelensky will discuss trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, strengthening diplomatic relations and attracting investment in Ukraine," reads the message.
