President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has held a meeting with Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Jean-Yves Le Drian. He stated that the Ukrainian side did everything that depended on it to fulfill the agreements reached during the last summit in the Normandy Format as the President’s Office reported.
“We did everything that depended on us to fulfill the reached agreements (during the last summit in the Normandy Format, - 112.international),” Zelensky said.
He underlined that there is no progress in the peaceful settlement in Donbas; the pressure on Russia should be kept.
Besides, Zelensky has informed the interlocutor about the situation with the safety in Donbas and thanked France for participation in the inauguration Crimean Platform summit on August 23.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that while there is no progress in the Normandy format, pressure from other countries on the Russian Federation should remain.
Besides, German Chancellor Angela Merkel noted the stagnation in the Normandy format and called for the resumption of meetings within its framework.
