Zelensky changes line-up of National Investment Council

The body incorporates several top-rank Ukrainian officials, business representatives from Ukraine and abroad, experts in attracting the investments, entrepreneurship and economic development

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky made changes in the line-up of the National Investment Council. This is stipulated in his decree released on June 24. 

The body incorporates several top-rank Ukrainian officials - the President himself, as well as Prime Minister, Head of the National Bank of Ukraine (on agreement), First Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Economic Development of Ukraine, Finance Minister of Ukraine and the Justice Minister of Ukraine. It also includes a circle of business representatives from Ukraine and abroad, experts in attracting the investments, entrepreneurship and economic development.

The decree took effect on the day it was published.

Apart from the mentioned Ukrainian officials, the list, in particular, includes the following people:

Rovnag Abdullayev, President of SOCAR, the state oil company of Azerbaijan;

Ahmet Akça, Head of the Board of Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri A.S.;

Alan Jope, Unilever N.V. CEO;

Margarita Louis-Dreyfus, Head of the Board of Louis Dreyfus Holding B.V.; 

Lakshmi Nivas, CEO of Arcelor-Mittal, Ltd.;

Suma Chakrabarti, the EBRD President, and many others.
