President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky can't disband the Parliament just like that; he has no right to do so. Viktor Medvedchuk, the Chairman of the Political Council of Opposition Platform - For Life party said this in his interview with Ukrainian TV channels.

"(...) No one has the right to disband the Parliament. It's not just about the President arriving and disbanding the Parliament. He has no such authority. The Parliament can be dismissed under the conditions that are listed in the Constitution. And therefore, if the Parliament acts as a suicider (...) and creates such conditions when the President of Ukraine can do so. And if it doesn't, he will not", the MP said.

"If there are 250, 252, 254 people in the faction right now, it will be very tough to repeat such a miracle in the Ukrainian politics, when one faction consists of 250 people", Medvedchuk added.

"One should always remember that they only talk about Parliament. And why? We also have a President. And there are reasons for the early election of the President, too. Maybe, the President who fails to act will resign", Medvedchuk said.
