President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the rallies convened by former President Petro Poroshenko were a mistake and nothing good could come of it. He told this during the briefing after the Normandy Summit, which was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV Channel.
"I think overall this is a big mistake for him, his personality. Only he knows what he wants. And, frankly, I am not very interested in it. I'm sorry that we all are solving the problem today, which, signing correctly, would be easier for us, but there were also difficult conditions. Maybe it could not have been any different. I do not want to criticize anyone. I think he is wrong today, and nothing good could come of it," Zelensky said.
“The protesters demand not to allow the surrender of the national interests and not to make concessions with Russia during the Normandy Format meeting in Paris. They also stand against the further disengagement of forces in Donbas,” the correspondent said.
