President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Minister of Defense of the United Kingdom Ben Wallace in Kyiv, during which the parties discussed the challenges in the Black and Azov Seas, the press service of the Office of the President reported.

International steps to restore safe navigation in the region and deepen bilateral defense cooperation were also discussed.

"The United Kingdom has become our key partner in building the Ukrainian fleet. I expect that future security projects planned under this agreement will be effectively implemented," Zelensky stressed.

Zelensky stressed the need to take consistent steps to gain full membership in Ukraine. According to Zelensky, the Ukrainian side is stepping up work in this direction.

As it was reported, on November 2 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that he met American leader Joe Biden within the Climate Change Conference in Glasgow. The security situation in Donbas was discussed.
