Zelensky, Biden to sign bilateral documents on defense partnership, cooperation in space

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and US leader Joe Biden will sign a number of defense partnership agreements. According to the press service of the President of Ukraine, these agreements were discussed by the Deputy Head of the President’s Office Roman Mashovets and US Defense Attache Brittany Stewart.

It is reported that during Zelensky's visit to the United States, it is planned to sign three bilateral documents on defense partnership, as well as projects in research, development, testing, evaluation and cooperation in the space sphere.

"The American party emphasized its willingness to sign these documents during the visit of the President of Ukraine to the United States," the message says. 

On July 21, it became known that the United States expects the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Washington on August 30.

At the same time, the meeting between US President Joseph Biden and the Ukrainian leader will take place on August 31.

“Considering the extension of the elements of the program of the visit, the meeting of the heads of states of Ukraine and the U.S. presidents Biden and Zelensky will take place on August 31,” Foreign Minister Kuleba said.
