President Zelensky assured people of Ukraine who protest against signing "Steinmeier formula" that he will never surrender Ukraine. He stated this in a video message broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.

"I respect the constitutional right of every citizen of Ukraine to protest. I hear you and believe me - I will never surrender Ukraine!" Zelensky said.

The head of state called on Ukrainians to consider the situation in a balanced and calm manner and not succumb to the manipulations and provocations of “some individuals”.

"They really want to use you, regain the possibility of robbery, become victims of political persecution and avoid criminal liability. This will not happen. Everything will be Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine!" - the president stated.

As reported, a protest rally against the "Steinmeier formula" has already taken place on the Independence Square and near the Office of the President.

On October 1, President Zelensky said that Ukraine announced the approval of the text of the “Steinmeier formula” in response to a letter from the OSCE Special Representative to the Tripartite Contact Group, Martin Saydik.

The signing of the "Steinmeier formula" by the Ukrainian side is a condition for participation in the Normandy  format summit.
