President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky did not answer a reporter's question where his country supported Canada during the UN Security Council election. The Globe and Mail wrote that on June 22.

"Ukraine has always supported and will keep supporting Canada. I don't feel like sharing about the voting and the electoral process in the UN because it's confidential information. I know Canada badly wanted to be elected and join the UN Security Council. Well, no luck this time, but it's important for Canada and it's important for Ukraine because Canada's success is Ukraine's success", Zelensky said.

The head of the Ukrainian state didn't either comment on the rumors that Ukraine allegedly promised its votes to Norway and Ireland - even before Canada started its campaign."I know this information, but I can't reveal it, because it's confidential", Zelensky said.
