President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky assures that restrictions on electricity supply and tariff increases are not about Ukraine. He said this during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada.

"The energy crisis, restrictions on electricity supply, a significant increase in tariffs - for the first time it's not about Ukraine. Congratulations. These are the realities of the whole world, despite which we managed to maintain stability in the energy sector, restrain the growth of prices for housing and communal services, and even reduce the prices for electricity for the population of our state," Zelensky said.

As it was reported on November 15, 23 units of thermal power plants (TPPs) and combined heat and power plants (CHPs) with a total capacity of 7.85 GW were out of operation in Ukraine due to the lack of fuel.
