President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky surmises there is a chance of a full-scale war with Russia. He said so at the YES Brainstorming forum 2021, which takes place in Kyiv on September 10.
"If there's a powerful escalation from the Russian side - that's the most horrific thing there is. Unfortunately, there is such a chance", Zelensky said.
However, if it comes to this, it will be a tragic mistake for Moscow, Ukrainian leader added. According to him, in this case, "Ukraine will show no more friendly attitude to Russia and Belarus".
Earlier, Zelensky’s spokesperson Serhiy Nikoforov said that the Ukrainian president was ready to meet with his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin anytime. In turn, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Putin was ready, too, but he is not to discuss the matters related to Crimea.
