President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky assesses the conversation between US and Russian leaders Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin positively. He said this during briefing with the Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković.

"I think it's positive that the US president talked to the Russian president," Zelensky said.

The President also noted that he intends to comment on the details of the conversation between the leaders of the United States and Russia after a conversation with Biden. According to him, the dialogue will take place tomorrow, as such a time was proposed by the American side.

"Ukraine's victory is that the United States has always supported Ukraine. Most importantly, we see that there is a personal real reaction and Biden's personal role in resolving the war in the east of our state," Zelensky summed up.

As it was reported, the December 7 talks over a video call between US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin lasted over two hours instead of the planned one. The summit's agenda included bilateral relations, strategic stability, as well as the situation in Ukraine and NATO expansion.

It should be noted that on the eve of this meeting, the US President made a number of calls. In particular, Biden called on NATO allies and leaders of several countries.

At the same time, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky commented on the conversation with the White House representative as follows:

"We agreed with Anthony Blinken before Biden and Putin talked. We agreed to continue working together and in coordination. I am grateful to our strategic partner and ally, the United States, for our continued support for our sovereignty and territorial integrity. Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine."

It is noted that after the summit of the presidents of Russia and the United States Joe Biden also intends to talk to the Ukrainian president to inform about the results of the meeting.
