President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the UK, where he will take part in the UN Climate Change Conference COP26. This was reported by the press service of the President's Office.

"President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, together with his wife Olena, arrived in the UK to participate in the UN Conference on Climate Change COP26, which will be held in the city of Glasgow," the statement said.

The President's Office noted that the speech of the Ukrainian president at the UN Conference will take place on November 1.

In addition, the Ukrainian president will hold meetings with leaders of other countries within the framework of COP26.

Earlier Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu. The main topic was energy security. This was reported by the press center of the President's Office. 

"The President of Ukraine noted the readiness of our state to further provide assistance to Moldova in matters of proper energy supply. To this end, the parties agreed to hold relevant consultations in Ukraine in the near future at the level of energy ministers of the two countries," the statement says. 

The heads of state also exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular on the progress in the implementation of the project on building a bridge across the Dniester.
