Zelensky approves line-up of Ukraine's delegation in UN International Court hearings

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky created Ukraine's delegation for participation in the specific UN International Court hearings. These will concern Russia's violations of the International Convention for Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. 

This is mentioned in the decree signed on May 30, as posted on the president's web site.

Olena Zerkal, Deputy Foreign Minister will chair the delegation. Her deputy will be Vsevolod Chentsov, Ukraine's Ambassador in the Netherlands. The line-up of the delegation is to include several officials from departments of the Foreign Ministry and the State Security Service of Ukraine. Refat Chubarov, Ukrainian MP and Deputy Head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatars also agreed joined the authority.

Head of the delegation is authorized to involve lawyers, experts, advisors and technical staff workers to provide the due work of the delegation. She will also prepare and present documents and case materials in respective whenever the UN Court requests.
