President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed Law № 948-IX on the admission of investigators and prosecutors to the area of deterrence of Russian aggression. This was reported by the press service of the President's Office.
"President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed the Law ‘On the peculiarities of state policy on ensuring Ukraine’s State sovereignty over temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions regarding the admission of investigators and prosecutors to the area of measures to ensure national security and defense, repel, and deter armed aggression by the Russian Federation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions," the statement said.
The law regulates the admission of representatives of pre-trial investigation bodies and the prosecutor's office to the area of deterrence of Russian aggression in Donetsk and Luhansk regions in order to exercise the powers assigned to them by the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
As we reported earlier, on Tuesday, November 24, the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on Donbas Conflict settlement will discuss the Joint Action Plan.
