President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Oleh Tatarov Deputy Head of the President's Office. This is stated in the text of the corresponding decree.

"To appoint Oleh Tatarov as deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine," the message says.

The press service of the President's Office said that "the competence of Oleh Tatarov will include the formation of state policy in the field of law enforcement, expert and analytical support for the work of the Office of the President of Ukraine, ensuring guarantees of national security of the state in the areas of law enforcement, combating corruption, protecting human rights."

Oleh Tatarov is the Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine. For a long time he worked in the internal affairs authorities; in particular, he held the job of deputy head of the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych).
