President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Serhiy Kyslytsia as a new Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations. This was reported on the website of the President.

"To appoint Kyslytsia Sergiy Olegovych as Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations," the text of Presidential decree #916/2019 reads.

Serhiy Kyslytsia, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the National Commission for UNESCO, is responsible for monitoring of the situation in Crimea by international organizations, including UNESCO.

He is supposed to replace Volodymyr Yelchenko, who was appointed as Ukraine's new ambassador to the United States.

As we reported earlier, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkey Andriy Sybiga became Ambassador of the Year according to Buhara Medya Grup. QHA informed.

Sybiga was honored for his active representation of Ukraine and Ukrainian culture in the Republic of Turkey, as well as for his personal contribution to the development of Ukrainian-Turkish relations.
