Zelensky appoints new Deputy Head of President's Office

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Yulia Svyridenko as new Deputy Head of the Office of the President, dismissing Yulia Kovaliv. The relevant decree was posted on the website of the head of state.

"To dismiss Yulia Ihorivna Kovaliv from the position of Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine," the text of Decree №580 reads.

"To appoint Yulia Anatoliyivna Svyrydenko as Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine," noted in Decree №581.

It is noted that Kovaliv resigned at her own request.

As we reported earlier, during an emergency meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, it was decided to appoint the former executive director of Naftogaz-Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko as Acting Head of the Ministry of Energy.

"Yuriy Vitrenko has just been appointed Acting Minister of Energy at the emergency meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers," reads the message.

He worked in Naftogaz-Ukraine for 18 years. He was the assistant of the deputy chairman of the board, head of detachments of corporate finance, chief adviser of chairman of the board, and an external advisor.
