President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed founder of CrimeaSOS Tamila Tasheva as Deputy Permanent Representative of the President at the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as the order #357/2019-rp says.
“To appoint Tamila R. Tasheva as the Deputy Permanent Representative of the President at the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” reads the document.
Tasheva was born in 1985 in Samarkand in the family of deported Crimean Tatars. The family returned to Simferopol, Crimea in 1991. After the school, she was enrolled into the university. In 2007, she moved to Kyiv.
In 2014, after the annexation of Crimea, Tasheva along with the associates created CrimeaSOS, the non-governmental organization which aims to help the displaced residents and monitor the violations of human rights in occupied territories.
In 2019, Tasheva stood at the elections to the Verkhovna Rada but failed.
