Zelensky announces signing of decrees against raiding, smuggling

The President of Ukraine promises to sign the decrees against raiding and smuggling in the coming days. Volodymyr Zelensky claimed it on the Ukraine-EU Summit, broadcasted on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

“Apart from that, I convinced our European partners in having the same position relating to other Ukrainian reforms, namely in economical unshadowing, creating of independent court, monopoly overcoming, struggle against raiding and smuggling. The decrees about the two last things will be signed tomorrow,” – noted the state leader.

As it was reported earlier, during the president’s visit to Uzhhorod on July, 6, Zelensky demanded the leaders of Volyn, Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi and Lviv customs to write dismissal letters. He added that smugglers and those who cover them should be afraid. As a result the president promised to sign the acts on Monday.

On July 5, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky went to Donetsk region with a working visit. Besides, he presented Head of Donetsk Regional Military-Civilian Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko.
