Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused former Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (2014-2019) Oleksandr Turchynov of being responsible for the loss of Crimea to Russia, and the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko – for the Donbas loss. He said so during the press conference.

"As for the issue of losing Crimea, let's be honest, you are constantly working with Mr. Turchynov, right? Isn't that right? Mr. Turchynov is seen as one of those people who lost Crimea, and Mr. Poroshenko is one of those people who lost Donbas, that's all, this is my opinion. This is my opinion and, I am sure, an opinion of the majority of society," the President said.

As we reported, the first big press conference of President Volodymyr Zelensky took place on October 10, 2019 at Kyiv Food Market. Then, the president held a press marathon that lasted 14 hours.

A year later, on May 20, 2021, Zelensky's second major press conference dedicated to the two years of his presidency took place.

Today the President gives the third big press conference, which is called "30 questions to the President of Ukraine". It is dedicated to the halfway point of Zelensky's presidency.
