President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of Switzerland Simonetta Sommaruga have started a joint working trip to Donbas. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
"President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the Swiss Confederation Simonetta Sommaruga, who made a state visit to Ukraine, have begun a working trip to Donetsk and Luhansk regions," the statement said.
The presidents will meet with representatives of the OSCE SMM missions, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the United Nations in Ukraine, and the leadership of Donetsk Regional State Administration.
As we reported earlier, on July 21, Zelensky and Sommaruga signed a Memorandum of Partnership between Ukraine and the Swiss Confederation on the implementation of the Swiss Cooperation Program for 2020-2023.
It is about cooperation on the implementation of technical and humanitarian assistance projects under the Swiss Cooperation Program with Ukraine.
