A meeting between U.S. and Ukraine’s leaders is part of the schedule of Petro Poroshenko’s visit to the Polish capital. Kostyantyn Yeliseev said this in an interview with Inter TV channel.
According to him, Ukraine will be the only NATO partner at this summit to host meetings with the Alliance’s member countries leaders. Yeliseev added that the sides are to make important decisions – specifically, approval of the aid package to reform Ukraine’s Armed Forces. ‘We’re now working on the bilateral declaration of NATO and Ukraine leaders, where the sides will sum up achievements gained so far in their cooperation. We’ll also close books on regional policy, internal reforms in Ukraine, especially those related to the defense reform’, the official said.
