Arsen Avakov, Andriy Parubiy and Andriy Deshchytsia may be interviewed in the court, as judges continue to look into the case of state treason committed by Viktor Yanukovych. The prosecution asked to summon for an interview the Interior Minister, Parliamentary Speaker and ex-foreign minister, who could reveal valuable information about Yanukovych’s escape from Ukraine in February 2014 and the annexation of Crimea. Prosecutor Ruslan Kravchenko said this during the court session on Thursday.

The court also expects Oleksandr Turchynov, former acting president of Ukraine (February-May 2014, - 112 International).

Besides, prosecutors intend to interview several officials from the Ukrainian Navy HQ, which was stationed in Crimea until spring 2014, and some officials from the Foreign Ministry. Ex-Russian MP Ilya Ponomarev is also among those invited for an interview in the Ukrainian court.
