Kyiv’s Obolon district court continues to consider the case of Viktor Yanukovych, who is charged with state treason. Presiding judge Vladyslav Devyatko said that on Wednesday, explaining that the court is to interview witnesses for the prosecution in this case.
Previously, Prosecutor General’s Office reported that President Petro Poroshenko and National Security Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov are among those yet to be interviewed; 23 witnesses are to be interviewed.
Yanukovych is charged with state treason, assistance in deliberate actions against Ukraine’s state border, sovereignty and territorial integrity and assistance in leading the aggressive war against Ukraine.
