There was no order to chase the Euromaidan protesters. This was announced by the former commander of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Stanislav Shulyak during the press conference with the fugitive president Victor Yanukovych after today's failed interview during the court hearing in Kyiv.
“I ask you, do not create any illusion of existence of a mythical order, this is possible only in movies. In military service, all the actions of the servicemen, from an ordinary soldier to myself, the commander of armed forces, or a defense minister, is strictly divided by the job responsibilities for every day,” Shulyak noted.
Shulyak also denies giving orders to issue weapons to “titushki” from the warehouses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
“Of course, I couldn’t give such an order, it can’t exit a priori. Giving such an order means signing a death sentence for yourself,” he said.
