The World Congress of Ukrainians (WCU) reacted to President Volodymyr Zelensky's offer for the Ukrainian diaspora to return to Ukraine.
Head of the WCU Pavlo Grod thanked Zelensky in person during the meeting, as the website of the presidential service reports.
'I am grateful that you urge Ukrainians to return and work on the development of Ukraine. And we would like to bring that to life jointly, together with you', Grod said.
The WCU Head congratulated the Ukrainian leader on starting his cadence. He also thanked Zelensky for the option to meet in the very first days of his work - in spite of the tough schedule.
Zelensky's inauguration ceremony took place May 20. During his speech, the President urged the members of Ukrainian diaspora to return from abroad. The head of the state promised the international partners that the world would be 'proud of Ukraine'.
