The Hungarian Air Company Wizz Air considers a possibility to renew the activity of its subsidiary in Ukraine, “Wizz Air Ukraine” Company. Particularly, this issue was discussed during the meeting of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Director-General of Wizz Air József Váradi, as the press service of the president reported.
“We want to strengthen our present and do more for Ukraine. I completely agree with you and think that the investment climate has changed for the better in the country. The visa-free regime and the absence of restrictions for the trips along with economic growth will be the main drivers of the growth of our business in Ukraine. I think that it is a right time for us to work out more ambitious plans for work in Ukraine,” Varadi noted.
At the same time, he noted that Wizz Air will be able to add the services of better quality with low.
Supposedly, it will take place in 2019.
President of Ukraine welcomed the decision of Wizz Air to restore the license of the Ukrainian air carrier.
As reported before, Ukraine's city of Kharkiv and London are now linked via the direct international connection between the airports, according to the decision of Wizz Air.
Besides, Wizz Air company opened the direct flight from Kyiv to Vienna.
