The White House has begun the preparations of the possible meeting of U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin as The Wall Street Journal reported citing the sources.

According to the unnamed high-level official, Jon Huntsman, the U.S. ambassador to Russia came to Washington to help in the organization of the meeting of the states' leaders. However, the preparation is at the early stage at the moment.

'This has been an ongoing project of Ambassador Huntsman, stretching back months, of getting a formal meeting between Putin and Trump', the source said. Yury Ushakov, the assistant of the Russian president reported in April that Trump invited Putin to the White House during the phone talk on April 20.

Earlier we reported that Putin is to meet with Kim Jong-Un soon.
